The archaeological site of Danilo Rider is located in Gornje Danilo. Šema Torij is home to a Roman villa complex, while the Gradina area preserves settlement and fortification remains dating from prehistoric times to the Middle Ages. Danilo’s archaeological tradition is associated with the riton, a decorated four-legged vessel with a large handle that was used in rituals.
