Geographical Location
Sreser lies at the southern foothills of the Rota on the shore of Malo more. The village is located about 3 km from the main road and about 3 km from Janjina.

History
Sreser has been documented since 1370. The mainland church named Church of Little Lady has been mentioned in Sreser since 1617. In 1791, a new mainland church named Church of Little Lady was built. Graves of Roman soldiers are associated with the Church of Little Lady in Sreser. Sreser also had a Roman villa rustica with mosaics, a bathhouse, and bricks.
Local tradition places a Church of Saint Mary on Gospin škoj. A Church of Saint Mary is recorded in the land register of Pelješac in the area of Sreser in 1396.
Nature
The small offshore islands of Sreser are part of a valuable coastal landscape extending from Rat via Stiniva to Osobjava. In the broader regional context, Malostonski Bay and Malo more are designated as a special reserve; it covers 921.8 hectares of sea area within the municipality of Janjina.
The tradition of oyster and mussel farming in the Malostonski Channel dates back to antiquity. The island group off Sreser can be explored by small boats or kayaks.
Getting Around
Gospin škoj, the small island opposite Sreser’s central beach, is considered accessible on foot or by swimming and can be circumnavigated on foot. A cross marks its highest point, which is considered a viewpoint and a place to enjoy the sun.
Walking Trail 6 is the Sreser–Drače–Sreser circular route. It begins in the centre of Sreser and follows a paved road to the Osobjava–Drače junction. Between Drače and Sreser, the route uses a pedestrian coastal promenade with views of the Pelješac Bridge.
