Nature
The olive groves of Lun comprise around 80,000 wild olive trees across approximately 400 hectares. They include around 1,500 notable wild olive trees; the area was designated a botanical reserve in 1963. The wild olive species found in Lun, Olea oleaster linea, is considered an exceptionally rare Mediterranean woodland species.

Sightseeing
The olive gardens of Lun offer tours of the protected area by electric vehicle. Gravel paths with a total length of more than 7,000 metres are available for walks. There is an information point about the area at the reception. Programs are also available for individual tours, private tours, and group tours.
The offerings include olive oil as well as food products made from olives and figs.
Culture
The chapel “Our Lady of Health” stands at the entrance to the village of Lun. The ruins of St. Martin’s Church at Punta Luna can be reached on foot and offer a view of the sea.
Connections
Boat services connect Rab with Lun via the port of Tovarnele. In Tovarnele, the remains of a former tavern have been preserved; it also served as a defence against pirates.
The Feast of the Guardian Angels, associated with 2 October, is regarded in Lun as a long-standing family celebration.
