Nature

Kamačnik is located in the area of the town of Vrbovsko and is a protected landscape of significance, featuring a gorge trail, wooden bridges and galleries. Its mouth can be reached by car or bus; a railway station is located approximately 100 m from the canyon.

Culture

The Gomirje Monastery celebrates the Feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God every year on 28 August. In Severin na Kupi, Severinska večer takes place every year on the first Saturday in September.

Activities

A climbing area in the area of the town of Vrbovsko has routes of varying difficulty, including slabs, cracks and short overhangs. It is considered suitable for technique training and is located approximately 1 km from the motorway exit.

Fishing for brown trout, rainbow trout, grayling and huchen is possible on the Dobra in the area of the town of Vrbovsko with a fishing permit.
