Dramalj: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

A coastal promenade connects Dramalj with Crikvenica and continues to the Kačjak peninsula and a tourist village.

Culture and History

Toš – mlin za masline in Pazdehova is a testament to rural economic and cultural history. The building dates from the 19th century and contains equipment for crushing and pressing olives.

The Church of Saint Helena in Dramalj was built on the site of an older chapel in Dramalj and expanded in the 18th century. Traditionally, May in the village is dedicated to the celebration of Saint Helena, locally known as Jelenina.

Jelenina comprises a two-week programme featuring sports, music, tradition and religious activities. It concludes with the annual klapa performance “Sveta Jelena” in the port of Pazdehova.

The surrounding area of Dramalj is home to Fulfinum Forum and Fulfinum Mirine. The Maltempo fortress, Fortičina Omisalj, Plaža Pesja, Medveđak and Netermnjak are also located in the surrounding area.

Nature and Surroundings

Biserujka is located in the immediate vicinity of Dramalj.

The Vrtare Male Cave is approximately 40 metres deep and contains fossils of extinct animals as well as a diverse world of cave organisms. It is one of Croatia’s richest palaeontological sites and documents prehistoric life as well as life during the late Pleistocene. Vrtare Male has been provisionally placed under protection in the Croatian Register of Natural Monuments.
