Culture and History
Gorači hosts the traditional, recurring Goračanski Dani, organized by DŠR Gorači. The program included a bocce tournament with 12 teams, as well as an attraction involving riding a mechanical bull. DŠR Gorači is associated with many years of work in sports and recreation, as well as with the preservation of intangible cultural heritage.
Historically, Gorači is connected with the documented settlement group “Gorachy Praesider” (Gorači Prezidanski). The surrounding area may have been inhabited during the period of the Zrinski family's metallurgy activities in Čabar.

Hiking Trails
The Via Dinarica HR-W-01 leads through Gorači towards Tatinska draga and then descends through the forest to the source of the Čabranka River. It is listed as a moderately difficult hike covering 18.5 kilometers with a duration of eight hours; an elevation range of 513 to 933 meters is specified for the route.
The Camino Gorski Kotar Etapa 10 runs from Parg via Gorači to Prezid. It is listed as an easy stage of 16.8 kilometers and includes sections with views towards Slovenia. The Gorski Kotar Hiking Trail (GPP) has marked sections leading from Vražji vrtec via Kozji vrh and through Gorači towards Tatinska draga.
