Culture and History
The parish church of St Michael the Archangel in Vrh was built on the site of an older chapel of the same name, which presumably dates from the 14th century. Inside are colourful compositions by the academic painter Mate Ljubičić.
Kaštel Salatići is a large stone building overgrown with ivy, associated with a presumed country estate of the nobility of Krk.
Traditions
The KUD “Vrh” was founded in 1996 to preserve the folk customs and cultural heritage of Vrh. The association maintains Vrh’s traditional dance and singing through younger and older dance groups, as well as musicians and singers.
