The old town centre of Peroj is characterised by old stone houses with balconies. The town offers views towards the Fažana Channel and the Brijuni Archipelago.

Nature and Activities

The coast of Peroj consists of limestone slabs sloping down towards the sea and is interspersed with pebble beaches and coves, including Portić and Marić. Water sports are possible along this coast.

There are more than 120 km of signposted cycling paths in the Vodnjan area. These include routes leading to sights that cannot be reached by car and offering views across dry-stone walls, vineyards and olive groves.

Events

Peroj’s summer programme includes celebrations, gastronomic evenings and small sports tournaments. The Peroj Feast combines exhibitions, tournaments, folklore performances and an evening concert and traditionally takes place on the third Saturday in July.
