Rt Savudrija and Cape Lako are located in the immediate vicinity of Zambratija. In the wider regional area are Spiaggia Lido di Fido and Spiaggia di Grado.
Culture and History
The Church of St Mary Magdalene has a semicircular apse, carved, unplastered stone corners on its sea-facing façade, three stone pinnacles and a bell gable. A funerary monument from the 1st century AD, found in Zambratija, is integrated into the south wall of the village church.
The preserved half of the hull of the Zambratija shipwreck is almost 6.7 metres long and 1.6 metres wide. The Zambratija boat is a sewn Bronze Age boat and is considered the oldest in the Mediterranean made using this sewing technique. The presence of the shipwreck in very shallow water in Zambratija Bay was reported to the Archaeological Museum of Istria in 2008.
Historical processions from the parishes of Umag and Savudrija came to Zambratija two days before the Feast of the Assumption to bless the surrounding fields. A traditional boat crane, a grua, is still in use in Zambratija. In the southern part of Zambratija Bay are partially excavated remains of an ancient rural complex with traces of dye production.
Routes
The 24-kilometre Umag Coast–Stara Savudrija jogging route reaches Zambratija after passing Stella Maris, Katoro and Polynesia.

The Maritime Museum is located in the area surrounding Zambratija. Sveta Marija na Krasu and St.George Church are also nearby. Castello di Muggia is located in the wider regional area of Zambratija.
