Perci: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture

An archaeological zone with surface finds is recorded at Perske njive near Perci. Lokošav near Perci is associated with an ancient villa. A kažun in Perci is considered an ethnological site; the wayside shrine is to be preserved in its existing condition. Kažuni are considered to be of high heritage value and are to be preserved and restored using traditional construction methods.

Activities

The Snježana Vidović Atelier at Perci 9a offers individual and group painting courses for children and adults. The atelier is also associated with painting courses in Istria held throughout the year. The Staza Baredine leads to Baredine, returns via Perci and ends in Tar. The route is 13.4 kilometres long, starts and ends in the centre of Tar, and has a stated duration of one hour. There is also a motocross track near Perci.

Local Character

The Tar-Vabriga area is associated with exceptional olive oil and the olive groves below Tar. Aldo Kodan is associated with an olive-growing operation at Perci 14. This operation is recorded as having 400 olive trees on 1.5 hectares and a total production of 300 litres. The olive oil associated with the producer in Perci is considered extra virgin; the first ten days of October are regarded as the traditional harvest period.
