Grdoselo: Holiday Apartments and Houses
The parish church of the Name of Mary in Grdoselo dates from 1774 and preserves the Grdoselo Fragment, a Glagolitic cultural heritage artefact from the 12th century. It was found among the ruins of the nearby Church of St Anne.

Hiking
The Grdoselo–Zelengrad hiking trail is a 16 km circular route offering panoramas of the Pazin basin, Učka, Ćićarija, Grdoselo and Lake Butoniga. The path through the gorge of the Grdoselski potok is unmarked and unsecured; in wet conditions, it can become extremely slippery.
On the Pazin–Grdoselo–Veliki slap hiking route, Veliki slap is reached a little more than 1 kilometre after a marked turn-off; the route then continues to a second waterfall. The Staza vodopada (614) leads to Grdoselo and reaches a waterfall after leaving the village by the church.
Nature
The Pećina waterfall is almost 20 metres high and plunges over the opening of a cave containing a spring. The gorge of the Grdoselski potok contains rapids, lakes, remnants of old mills and smaller waterfalls, including Črni puč.
History
Zelengrad was a trapezoidal fortress on a hill, below which the Grdoselo stream flows into the Butoniga stream. Today, Zelengrad is regarded as an abandoned medieval town; it was first mentioned in 1102.
Grdoselo Castle was not rebuilt and has since been called Stari grad. The ruins of the Church of St Anne belonged to the three churches of the old town, or Zelengrad, the former settlement about 800 metres north of present-day Grdoselo.
Archive
The Grdoselo Chronicle is a manuscript from the parish archive of Grdoselo, begun in 1688 by the local chaplain Vincent Pikot. It contains Vincent Pikot's account of the founding and construction of Grdoselo's present-day parish church.
