Žnjidarići: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Žnjidarići is listed as a stop on the official 34 km Aphrodisiac Trail cycling route. The route includes 27.2 km of macadam and is classified as difficult; it reaches the settlement via a 4.5 km climb from Istarske toplice. From Žnjidarići, the Aphrodisiac Trail continues through Poli, Medici, Vižintini and Laganiši to Sv. Lucija.

Cycling

The official From Spring to Spring route also passes through Žnjidarići on its Zrenj loop. From there, it continues along an unpaved path to Čabrnica before returning to Zrenj.

Hiking

Trail 261 Toplice–Oprtalj–Toplice is 14.1 km long, moderately difficult and takes three to four hours. After Vižintini, this trail turns east towards Žnjidarići. At a bend next to Žnjidarići, it meets the road to Istarske toplice.

The Istrian mountain trail (IPP) can be extended by an unmarked descent via Žnjidarići to Istarske toplice.

Surroundings

Nearby is Istarske toplice, a spa in the Mirna Valley; its thermal springs have been known since antiquity. At Istarske toplice, the spring of Saint Stephen emerges below an 85-metre-high cliff. The ruins of an old church of Saint Stephen stand on the cliff above the spring.

Trail 261 offers a detour to the galleries of the old quarry. In autumn, truffle hunters can be seen in the wooded area of Istarske toplice searching for truffles.
