On Fažana’s square near the sea stands the parish church of SS. Cosmas and Damian, a single-nave Gothic building. The batana is a traditional shallow-draft boat associated with Istrian and Dalmatian fishing. In summer, the fishermen of Fažana are known as organisers of batana rowing competitions.

Paths of Stories with a View comprises sculptures and benches serving as modern artworks along Fažana’s waterfront, recalling local tradition. The Pilchard Park is an open-air gallery and sculpture promenade along Fažana’s waterfront, commemorating the silvery-blue sardine.
