Potok: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Potok is one of the settlements on the edge of Lonjsko polje Nature Park.

Culture

In the Kutanija area stands the Chapel of Saint Anthony of Padua, built by local residents in the 1930s. Every year, Mass is celebrated there on the feast day of Saint Anthony.

Potok is also home to the Chapel of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. A triduum of Masses is held there before the Velika Gospa feast; on Velika Gospa, a solemn Mass is celebrated in the chapel.

The Velika Gospa programme in Potok includes the Marijanski susreti gathering outside the community centre. The programme has included folklore performances by cultural and artistic associations. KUD Potočanka has been active for 50 years and is recognised for preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Popovača.

Events

The traditional KUP Potoka is a firefighting competition organised by the local volunteer fire brigade. Potok also hosts the commemorative Bolčević-Medić-Marković football match between ŠNK Sloga Potok and a neighbouring club.

Potok hosted the traditional Budućnost na rubu močvare gathering, which was associated with World Wetlands Day.
