The 59-kilometre route is considered to be 70 percent paved and 30 percent gravel; the period from April to October is recommended for visits, and Vrhovac is listed as a refreshment stop.
Culture and History
Stare Seoske Igre is a traditional event in Vrhovac intended to preserve local customs, games, songs and dances. The event was scheduled for 18 and 19 July 2026 and organised by KUD Vrhovac. The 2026 Sunday programme was to include children’s folklore performances and games for children.
KUD Vrhovac was founded in 2000 and received public recognition from Ozalj for preserving the local cultural heritage.
The Church of Saints Cosmas and Damian has a medieval core and acquired its Baroque appearance through alterations in the late 17th and 18th centuries. It also preserves a Baroque side altar of the Three Kings with a relief of the Adoration of the Magi dating from 1660.
