Veliko Trojstvo is home to the present-day Church of the Holy Trinity. It was built over a period of seven years beginning in 1768 and is registered as protected immovable cultural heritage under code Z-2111.
Culture
The open-air gallery Svijetle pruge presents wooden sculptures created through a collaboration between Croatian Forests, Bjelovar-Bilogora County, the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb and Veliko Trojstvo. Some of the sculptures are located in Veliko Trojstvo.
The Ethno Park in Veliko Trojstvo combines depictions of traditional architecture with an ethnographic collection. The local collection there comprises around 1,000 exhibits and presents the life, culture and customs of Bilogora.
In the park's ethnographic courtyard, rural life and traditional architecture are represented by an old house from Bilogora, a barn, a granary, a bread oven, a corn crib and a well. The Ethno Park also offers the opportunity to learn about traditional crafts, folklore and life in the former Bjelovar-Bilogora County.
The Roma House offers presentations on the history and customs of the Roma, a permanent documentary-historical exhibition, traditional Lovari music and cuisine, as well as lavender products.
An information centre for the Bilogorski Tourist Road in the centre of Veliko Trojstvo helps visitors plan routes, choose sightseeing destinations and find accommodation. Within the municipality of Veliko Trojstvo, the Bilogorski Tourist Road includes 19 points featuring ethnographic collections, traditional crafts, hospitality establishments, accommodation and products from small farms such as wine, cheese, honey and meat.
The Bilogorski Tourist Road offers horse riding, hunting, fishing, hiking tours, cycling tours and other outdoor sports. The Ivica Pirin family farm can accommodate guests and keep horses for longer stays.
Since 2017, the event Autumn in Bilogora has been held at the Ethno Park Veliko Trojstvo. It combines ethnographic performances, products from local farms, music and activities.
The tasting room of OPG Bačak can accommodate up to 35 people for tastings, small meals and family lunches. OPG Bačak produces various pumpkin varieties as well as sweet and savoury preserves, pasta made from pumpkin flour, bread and homemade biscuits.
In the Veliko Trojstvo area, the Bilogorski Tourist Road runs over the gentle slopes of Bilogora, through forests, fertile fields and vineyards. The Bilogorski Čardak is a replica of a wooden watchtower and a viewpoint above Veliko Trojstvo offering views of the slopes of Bilogora, Kalnik and Zagrebačka gora. It is also an excursion destination with landscaped outdoor areas and a children's playground; it additionally serves as a horse rest stop on the Bilogora riding trail and as a place for picnics and gatherings.
Cycling
All BILOgravel cycling routes start at the viewpoint above Veliko Trojstvo. The BILOgravel network uses circular routes and alternative directions, extending the available cycling options to more than 400 kilometres.
Trail 2 is 30.4 kilometres long and is considered a pleasant route with a low level of difficulty.
