Duvanlii: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Near Duvanlii, the Regional Archaeological Museum in Plovdiv displays finds from aristocratic burials in the Duvanlii necropolis. The most remarkable exhibits from the 1st millennium are on display in Hall 4 of the permanent exhibition.

Next to Duvanlii lies a Thracian necropolis with more than 50 burial mounds. They date from the 5th century BC to the Roman period and were investigated from 1926 to 1929 under Bogdan Filov.
