Teşvikiye near Yalova is a starting point for exploring forest landscapes and the surrounding highlands. The Kent Ormanı near Erikli Yaylası covers 95 hectares. Other destinations, such as Delmece Yaylası, the Dipsiz Lakes and the Erikli Waterfalls, are not all in the town center. For a holiday rental, the specific location in relation to your intended route is therefore more important than the place name alone.

Kent Ormanı and Erikli

Trees growing in Kent Ormanı include European beech, black pine, oak, chestnut, hornbeam, ash, maple, plane, alder, linden, wild cherry and wild plum. This variety makes the forest interesting for nature observation, but does not establish that guided botanical tours are available or that access is unrestricted year-round. The forest can be reached from Yalova via Çınarcık–Teşvikiye, or from the direction of Bursa via Hayriye, Selimiye and Delmece Yaylası. Check the current route that is suitable for your starting point.

Erikli Yaylası is about ten kilometers from Teşvikiye and, according to the available description, can be reached by a fully paved road. Erikli Çifte Şelale, mentioned as a place for camping and trekking, is on the road from Teşvikiye to Delmece Yaylası. Do not treat accommodation in town, the highland and the waterfall as the same location. Before an outing, check the rules, trail conditions and any seasonal restrictions.

Delmece and the Dipsiz Lakes

Delmece Yaylası lies south of Teşvikiye and has a natural hiking trail. Pine, oak, chestnut and linden trees grow there. The surrounding area is described as having waterfalls, a deep crater lake called Dipsiz Göl, and a spring referred to as “healing water.” This name does not establish a verified medical effect or approval for drinking. Do not use the spring for health purposes based on its name alone.

The Great Dipsiz Göl is at an elevation of about 530 meters, and the Small Dipsiz Göl at 570 meters. The two lakes are separate bodies of water. The area has dense forest flora and a diverse range of wildlife. Access is described from Yalova via Çınarcık–Teşvikiye, as well as from the direction of Bursa via Hayriye–Selimiye–Delmece. Elevations and route descriptions offer useful guidance, but are not a guarantee of current road conditions or permission to swim.

Choose Accommodation Based on Your Outing

If your main destination is Kent Ormanı, a different location may make more sense than for Delmece and the lakes. Check the address, your own transport options, price and terms of a specific holiday rental. The verified facts about the area do not include available properties or guaranteed views. Plan forest and waterfall visits using current route and weather information, rather than assuming that several geographically separate destinations form a short walk around town.

For a short stay, it is often enough to choose one clear focus: forest plants at Kent Ormanı, a hike at Delmece, or confirmed access to the waterfalls. Anyone hoping to visit everything needs more than the straight-line distance between Teşvikiye and Erikli. Choose accommodation based on the route you actually plan to take and the conditions on the trails.
