Mustafakemalpaşa offers a range of reasons to visit: historic mosques and türbes in town, green spaces with play and sports facilities, and places to visit nearby. When choosing where to stay, you can consider whether you want to focus mainly on exploring the buildings in the centre or also include destinations outside town.

Mosques and Türbes in the Town Centre

Hamzabey Mosque dates back to the time of Sultan Mehmed II. The complex includes the tombs of Hamzabey, his wife and his son. It is located in the centre of Mustafakemalpaşa, about 150 metres from the district centre. Lalaşahin Paşa Türbesi is also in the centre: it has stood for more than 600 years on a small hill on the banks of the Mustafakemalpaşa River. Its complex included a mosque, a medrese, a bathhouse and a zawiya.

Another historic building in the centre is Şeyh Müftü Mosque. It was built in 1894–1895 with the support of Naib Şefik Bey. A mosque and a medrese built by Şeyh Müftü previously stood on this site. These different buildings give travellers interested in culture several specific ways to explore the town's history, without limiting the trip to a single monument.

Green Spaces and Facilities in Town

Millet Bahçesi is in the Akar location in the Fevzidede neighbourhood, about 600 metres from the centre of Mustafakemalpaşa, and covers 76 dönüm. The grounds include ponds, fruit trees and endemic plants, as well as an oxygen forest. There is also a library, children's playgrounds, multipurpose sports halls, picnic areas and other social facilities. Families travelling with children will find play and exercise facilities here; the picnic areas and plant life also shape the character of the grounds.

The Gençlik Merkezi, or cultural centre, is on Bursa Caddesi. It has a 550-seat amphitheatre, a cinema, vocational training workshops, indoor sports halls, an Olympic swimming pool and a cafeteria. Its wide range of facilities differs considerably from the historic buildings and green spaces: the focus here is on cultural, educational and sports facilities.

Waterfall and Thermal Springs Nearby

Suuçtu Waterfall is about 17 kilometres from the town centre, near the village of Muradiyesarnıç. It was formed by the collapse of a fault and is surrounded by beech trees. The pond at the waterfall fills in winter. Suuçtu is used as an excursion and picnic area. These landscape features make the waterfall a different part of a trip from the buildings in the town centre.

Tümbüldek Thermal Springs are 15 kilometres from the district centre, near the historic hamam in the village of Bahariye, within Akarca Mahallesi. The cold spring there is 21 °C and the hot spring is 50 °C. The surrounding area is also used for picnics and recreation. When choosing a holiday apartment, you can take these distances into account: if you want to prioritise the mosques and türbes in the centre, focus your search on accommodation in town; if Suuçtu or the thermal springs are part of your itinerary, consider their location outside the centre.
