After the concert on the Place de la Bastille the main events and performers will move to the numerous clubs and discos, where the fun will continue until early morning.
Paris Techno Parade is a part of the Rendez vous électroniques festival of electronic music and will be held for the 13th time. In addition to the promotion of techno music and searching for talented young musicians, Rendez vous électroniques aims to unite young people of different races, colors, religions, creating an environment of multiculturalism and tolerance towards each other.
Paris Techno Parade is also related to the wide dissemination and popularization of such modern dance as Tecktonik. Originally, this name comes from name of the Tecktonik Killer party, which had been held in the "Metropolis" night club in the suburbs of Paris in 2000. However, for the first time the dance was known only in small circles. This situation changed dramatically on September 15, 2007, when in Paris was held the Techno Parade. At this festival Tecktonik saw a lot of people, and thanks to the wide dissemination through video sharing services like YouTube, tecktonik gained popularity worldwide and has received a lot of new fans.
