Tenerife Tourism Corporation presented in Facebook special page that is designed to promote tourism in Tenerife in the largest social network in the world. The company reports first results, which were achieved thanks to the new marketing policy.
Launching of the official Tenerife profile www.facebook.com/tenerife.travel in Facebook took place in January 2011. In 4 weeks this page managed to win more than 1,000 regular readers and the number views was over 30,000.
In this community users can see the sights of Tenerife, find information about current events on the island, as well as to see pictures of the island and also contact Tenerife tourist office.
Tenerife Tourism Corporation chose Facebook as the only social platform that will be used to enhance the image and provide objective information about vacations on Tenerife.

Start of the Tenerife community in Facebook in addition to expanding presence of Tenerife Tourism Corporation on the Internet was also aimed at solving current marketing problems - check how effectively can be promoted large-scale events via social services.
