Play and sensory areas at Community Centre Park

On 17 February 2022, the Council reported upgrades to the playground at Banora Point Community Centre Park and described it as open at the time. The upgrades included new inclusive play equipment, renewed existing equipment, and nature play and sensory areas. This mix gives families a specific comparison to consider: are the children more interested in play equipment or in nature and sensory areas? This lets you plan leisure time around different kinds of play, rather than viewing the facility simply as a general playground.

The same announcement mentioned an accessible picnic table and seating. This identifies a specific place to take a break alongside the play areas, which you can factor into planning time together.

Play and physical activities at Club Banora

Club Banora is located on Leisure Drive in Banora Point. For children, Club Banora has an adventure playground with games and a climbing structure, as well as mini golf, beach volleyball and table tennis. This range combines the playground with several clearly distinct types of activity. It gives you specific points to consider when matching activities to your children’s interests and deciding which forms of play and physical activity you want to include. If a particular facility is important for your stay, check its current availability directly with the operator.

Live entertainment at the Golf Club

Club Banora Golf Club offers free live entertainment. This provides a different leisure option from play and physical activities for children. If you would like to include this in your travel plans, check the current offering directly with the club.

Match leisure interests with your holiday rental

The options differ according to the kind of day you want: Community Centre Park focuses on inclusive equipment and nature and sensory areas; Club Banora combines an adventure playground with several activities; and the Golf Club offers live entertainment. You can weigh up whether play and sensory experiences, a variety of physical activities, or entertainment should play a bigger part in your plans.

When choosing a holiday rental in Banora Point, you can use this mix of leisure options as a starting point. Consider which activities you actually want to include in your holiday and tailor your search to the kind of holiday you have in mind.
