Teploklyuchenka: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Behind a nature reserve located about 3 km above Teploklyuchenka, the Ak-Suu Gorge begins. The Altyn-Arashan Gorge also begins in Ak-Suu (Teploklyuchenka). Those wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Teploklyuchenka can then continue their accommodation search.
Culture
The Kydyr Ake Museum is located in Teploklyuchenka at 92 Kydyr-Ake Street. It has a separate hall dedicated to the descendants of Kydyr Ake, as well as a modern hall about the achievements of the area during the Soviet era.
Teploklyuchenka is also home to the Church of the Great Martyr Demetrius of Thessaloniki. The Orthodox community in Teploklyuchenka was organized in the mid-19th century.
Recreation
Ak-Suu Kench is a recreational facility at hot springs next to Teploklyuchenka on the road to the Ak-Suu Resort. The facility has three pools for adults and one children’s pool.
Nature
The Ak-Suu Gorge is 30–40 m wide, and the Ak-Suu River flows along the bottom of the gorge. Behind the Ak-Suu Resort, there are two waterfalls in the gorge, with heights of 25 m and 30 m respectively. The Ak-Suu Resort has around 30 thermal radon springs.
The hot springs of Altyn-Arashan are located nearby at an altitude of 2,600 m. They include covered pools as well as natural bathing spots in hollows in the rock. Kashka-Suu is a moraine glacier lake fed by meltwater.
Getting Around
The “Kurort Ak-Suu” marshrutka travels through Teploklyuchenka into the Ak-Suu Valley. Nearby, a prepared off-road vehicle with high ground clearance is required for the road leading up through the Altyn-Arashan Gorge.
