The Issyk-Kul State Nature Reserve is located in Anan’yevo. A project to redevelop the reserve in Anan’yevo is intended to support ecotourism and nature conservation. A wildlife rehabilitation centre was established in the mountains near Anan’yevo in 2002. Recovered animals are released there when they are deemed capable of surviving in the wild. The Church of St Nicholas the Wonderworker is located at 21 Sovetsky Lane in Anan’yevo. Anan’yevo is also home to a museum and a monument connected with Nikolai Ananyev.
Faith
A monument to St Irakli of Issyk-Kul stands in Anan’yevo’s Orthodox cemetery. The grave of St Irakli in Anan’yevo is regularly visited by pilgrims from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Russia.
