Uch-Yemchek: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Near the village is the Uch Emchek Cultural and Tourist Center. It provides a venue for cultural and educational events, retreats, team-building activities, and recreation in nature.

Culture

The center includes a large Kyl-Dat-Ordo yurt for up to 77 people, a traditional boz ui for up to 30 people, two halls, three barn houses, and a hostel for group stays. In the surroundings of the 3M CHECK art residency setting, dachas were used as studios and the sloping hills as an amphitheater for creative work.

Winter

The Zil recreation base is described as being 35 kilometers from Bishkek and at an altitude of 1,850 meters. The Zil ski resort is located 6 kilometers from the village center of Uch-Emchek. The Zil recreation base has four cable cars and offers daily transfers during the winter season. Zil also has tubing on a specially prepared track.

The Zil Ski and Snowboard Academy offers lessons for children and beginners.

Landscape

A school program included an excursion to the Uch-Emchek tract. The Uch-Emchek program also includes sports tourism training called “Trail of Friendship.” One stage of the journey includes a visit to the Toguz-Bulak waterfall in the Uch-Emchek river valley.

The Toguz-Bulak waterfall route includes walks around the waterfall and a climb to an upper terrace overlooking the Uch-Emchek River valley. A winter route follows an unpaved road toward a plateau located behind the low hills of Uch-Emchek. On the same route, snow can remain on the slopes until May.
