Townscape and Roads
On Depovskaya Street, a road project included an irrigation system and curbs along the pavements. In addition, work was carried out on this street between Frunze Street and Novopavlovka Secondary School-Gymnasium. Asphalt paving work was underway on Sovetskaya Street; pavements had been laid on Krupskaya and Kirova Streets.
At the point where Korsakov Street in Novopavlovka meets the Big Chuy Canal, railings were installed on both sides of the bridge. This bridge had previously been considered dangerous for pedestrians and drivers. The repaired pedestrian underpass near a school in Novopavlovka once again has restored stairs, shelters and gates; it enables pedestrians to cross beneath the Bishkek–Kara-Balta highway. Novopavlovka is also served by bus route 42 and suburban routes.
A municipal square was under construction on Frunze Street; its planned area was 10,975 square metres. The square had not yet been transferred to the municipal balance sheet because its irrigation system was connected to the drinking-water supply.
Culture and Sport
The Chyngyz Aitmatov Education Complex No. 1 in Novopavlovka comprises a school and a kindergarten. A taekwondo training programme was being held in a rented sports hall, with children and adults taking part in training. A mini-football pitch was opened at School No. 2 on 9 May.
Leisure
In Chuy Region, Karabulak, Muras, Dordoi, Kyrgyz-Aiyl, Aigul Too and Tausi are described as recreation or camp facilities operating year-round. Also in Chuy Region, Red Rocks is described as a ski base and mountain recreation facility operating in winter.
