The Dadiani Palace complex is located in the centre of Zugdidi. Dadiani Palace was the residence of the Mingrelian rulers, the Dadianis. The museum in the two Dadiani palaces contains more than 44,475 ancient objects. These include a personal item belonging to Napoleon Bonaparte and one of his death masks.

Nature

A botanical garden was established around Dadiani Palace in 1840. Zugdidi Botanical Garden was designed in the French style. The gardens extend over 67 hectares and contain unique plants.

Vlakernoba is celebrated every year on 15 July in the Dadiani Palace complex.
