Lakhushdi is the starting point for the one-day Lakhushdi–Zuruldi–Tsvrimi hiking route. The trail covers 18 km and takes approximately nine hours; July to September is considered the recommended hiking season for the route. Near Lakhushdi, the Hatsvali cable car can shorten the ascent toward the Zuruldi Ridge on the Lakhushdi–Zuruldi–Tsvrimi route. However, the route description points out that a considerable section through the forest and a substantial distance along the trail remain.

The Church of the Savior is located in the center of Lakhushdi. It preserves metalwork and painted icons from the 12th–13th centuries.
