Cityscape
The historic centre of Telawi includes preserved red-brick buildings dating from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Cholokashvili Street is known for its 19th-century houses with wooden balconies.
A plane tree estimated to be 900 years old stands in the centre of Telawi. The enormous plane tree in Telawi was granted official status as a "Protected Tree of Local Importance" in January 2024.
