Kveda K’inchkha is located in a landscape where nature and history stand closely side by side. The Okatse (Kinchkha) Waterfall is nearby, a three-tiered cascade in the gorge of the Satsikvilo River. The upper drops are 25 metres and 70 metres high, while the third fall reaches a height of 20 metres.
Nature
Around Kinchkha Waterfall, paths and platforms offer views of the surrounding nature. The Okatse (Kinchkha) Waterfall can be visited via marked paths and is accessible via marked paths.
Several named caves are also located in Kveda K’inchkha: Tsmindaliani Cave is situated there, as is Kldeida Cavern. The wider Khoni area also includes Okatse Canyon near Zeda Gordi. The canyon is two kilometres long and is 3 to 20 metres wide in some places.
Culture and History
Kveda K’inchkha is home to the medieval settlement of Kibula. Kibula includes the Church of Saviour. Kveda K’inchkha also contains remains of old smelting facilities and is associated with churches of the First Martyr that were built there during the first centuries of Christianity.
