Part of Kolkheti National Park, which is described as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, lies in Lanchkhuti. Japana Lake is described as the largest oxbow lake in Georgia. In winter, wild ducks and other birds gather around Japana Lake.

Trails and Excursions

The route to Orkari Gorge initially involves driving along an uneven road, followed by continuing the journey on foot. The left side of the gorge is described as non-technical to cross; there is a waterfall at the end of the road. The right side is described as a difficult route for professional climbers using special equipment.

The 3-Day Off-Road Tour in Guria descends toward the city of Lanchkhuti on its final day. An SUV or a similarly equipped vehicle is required for this tour.
