Kokhi: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture and History

Nature

The Kobuleti Protected Areas include the Ispani 1 and Ispani 2 sphagnum peat bogs. Three easy walking routes are named there: Ispani 2, White Moss, and Drosera. The Kobuleti Protected Areas are associated with birdwatching; binocular rental is available.

Activities

The second section of the Kintrishi kayaking route ends in K’okhi and is 8 kilometers long. Before reaching K’okhi, this section has an elevation drop of 160 meters and is rated difficulty level 2 to 3+.

The Kintrishi kayaking route begins in Kobalauri, 22 kilometers from Kobuleti. An SUV is required to reach its starting point. The second section of the route is listed for April to June and from late September to early November.

Local Character

K’okhi is part of a rural and agricultural tourism route that leads from Kobuleti through the village of Kobuleti to K’okhi. Kobuleti is associated with the traditional dishes Yakhni and Kobuleti borano.
