Nature
The former municipal area encompassed part of the Pre-Alps, with slopes and terrain terraces above the north-eastern shore of Lake Geneva.
The area extends along the left valley slope of the Veveyse towards Bondenoces and the Pléiades massif. The Pléiades area reaches 1,397 metres above sea level and forms the highest point of Saint-Légier-La Chiésaz.
The wider former municipal area included extensive forests, alpine pastures and the protected Les Tenasses raised bog.
Geographical Setting
In the former municipal area, the Veveyse formed the northern boundary, while the Ognona stream formed the southern boundary.
