Segnas: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Chapel of St. Sebastian and Rochus is located in Segnas. It faces west, has a barrel vault, and features a choir closed on three sides. The high altar is dated 1678.

Trails

The Muntatsch–Segnas trail is a varied hike along minor roads, residential paths, and prepared winter hiking trails. It leads via Cuoz and Buretsch to Segnas; along its route through Segnas, Acletta, Muntatsch, and Clavaniev, it is signposted throughout.

The circular tour “With stroller, village round Disentis” passes through the hamlets of Acletta and Segnas; in the center of Segnas, it runs past well-preserved Walser houses, well-tended gardens, and arcades.

Cycling

The mountain bike route “MTB Family: Tschamut–Disentis” leads downhill to Disentis via Mompé Tujetsch and Segnas.

Geographical setting

The Chapel of St. Sebastian and Rochus can be reached by train from Lucerne via the Oberalp Pass or from Zurich via Chur to Segnas; from there, it is a 10-minute walk.

On the valley hike “Oberalp Pass – Sedrun – Disentis,” the signposts in Segnas point toward Acletta. The valley hike can be reached by train from Lucerne via Andermatt or from Zurich via Chur and Disentis to the Oberalp Pass.
