Parpan: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
In summer, Parpan is a starting point for hikes and bike tours. The Tschiertschen–Joch–Parpan route leads down to Parpan via Oberberg and Tschuggen. On the first stage of the ViaSett, Parpan is the next village.
Activities
The four-seater Heimberg chairlift, which can be reached on foot from Parpan, takes visitors to over 2,000 metres above sea level in just a few minutes. The Proschieri ski lift can also be reached on foot from Parpan.
The cross-country ski trail network in the holiday region runs right through the village of Parpan. Visitors can go ice skating on the natural ice rink in Parpan. The sledging run begins at the Tschugga Restaurant, which can be reached on foot from the village of Parpan in 90 minutes; the run is approximately 1.5 kilometres long. Around Parpan, winter sports enthusiasts have access to approximately 225 kilometres of ski pistes.
Culinary experiences
At the Tschugga show dairy in Parpan, visitors can make their own cheese under expert guidance. The cheese-making experience there also includes a cheese tasting during the production process.
At the Parpan alpine dairy, visitors can watch the cheesemaker at work and taste the finished cheese on site.
The Brügger family’s dried-meat manufactory in Parpan can be visited. During the tour, visitors can sample Graubünden dried-meat specialities. For four generations, the history of the Brügger family in Parpan has been closely linked to the production of Bündnerfleisch.
Culture
The Reformed Church in Parpan was built after 1489 and is a late Gothic complex with a polygonal choir. The unarticulated tower with a tented roof stands separately on a small hill west of the church. The tower of the Reformed Church in Parpan was rebuilt in 1633.
