Nature
Sundsbergs friluftsområde is located close to the centre of Sunne and offers hiking trails and nature paths. The Sundsbergsleden trail runs through the area, passing through aspen forests with thick trunks and a herb-rich stream valley, and by Torp Skogsbacken. In winter, Sundsbergs friluftsområde has illuminated cross-country ski trails and a toboggan run.
In the vicinity of Sunne, Gettjärnsklätten is a hyperite mountain with extensive views as well as interesting flora and insect life. Kalvhöjden Nature Reserve preserves an ancient, traditionally managed cultural landscape in Finnbygden with a rich variety of flora. Also in the vicinity of Sunne is Sånebyklätten, a gravel formation created by meltwater; a marked path leads through the reserve for approximately 400 plus 300 metres.
Lake Björken is a wetland rich in birdlife in the vicinity of Sunne, with an observation tower, hiking trails, and rest and barbecue areas. Getting there
