Botkyrka: Pilgrim Trail, Museums and Nature Trails

Botkyrka combines pilgrim history, museums, creative culture and paths through preserved landscapes. The Sankt Botvids pilgrimsled runs between Salems kyrka and Botkyrka kyrka. Another historical focal point is Hågelby gård by Lake Aspen. The estate was built between 1911 and 1922 by Lars Magnus Ericsson, the founder of Ericsson. In addition, Hågelby 4H-gård offers a small farm close to the city with horses, sheep, goats, miniature pigs, chickens, rabbits, cats and other small animals. Visitors can take part in courses and camps there. Tumba bruksmuseum focuses on the history of Swedish banknotes and on the people who lived and worked at Tumba pappersbruk. There are several clearly defined options for active days. Lida has a total of 35 kilometres of training trails. In addition, there are three mountain bike trails there for exploring trail riding.
