Perstorp combines a long cultural history with rolling landscapes, lakes, forests and a variety of trails. Between the medieval church, the history of plastics, the historic Henrikstorp glassworks and an extensive cycling network, the town presents a multifaceted picture. Culture, exercise, water and nature stand alongside one another as distinct themes.
Culture and History
Perstorp Church dates back to the 12th century. It has a detached bell tower from the 16th century. Perstorp Hembygdsgård, which dates back to the 17th century and houses an extensive collection of old everyday objects, represents another historical focus. Sacred architectural history and traditional everyday culture therefore coexist in different forms.
Henrikstorp glassworks, also known as Skånska glasbruket, was founded in 1692 by Göran Pielman. In 1762, the glassworks burned down and was never rebuilt. Plastens Hus offers a glimpse into a more recent development that shaped the region: there, the history of plastics is presented through influential products. The house also has a chronologically arranged exhibition focusing on plastics and the environment, as well as a children’s corner.
The birthplace of Artur Lundkvist in Hagstad is now home to a writing house for writers and artists. It also features a permanent exhibition about Artur Lundkvist from 1986 and an exhibition about Maria Wine from 2003.
Cycling and Trails
Cykelleden Skåne passes through Perstorp. The cycling network covers 570 kilometres; along the routes, there are offerings related to nature, culture, accommodation and dining. The Perstorp–Klippan section of Cykelleden Skåne is 22.9 kilometres long. The Perstorp–Klippan cycling section passes through historic landscapes and by cottages and milestones.
Nature and Exercise
Perstorp has hilly terrain with beech, coniferous and mixed forests. Ponds with rich shoreline and aquatic vegetation add to this landscape. Uggleskogen is home to trees that grew in the 18th century, as well as several species of woodpecker.
The Perstorpssjöarna runt circular walking trail passes through parks close to residential areas, quiet forest clearings and open lake landscapes. It returns to the town of Perstorp and offers opportunities to observe park, woodland and water birds. The area has been made fully accessible and includes, among other things, exercise trails in a nature reserve close to residential areas.
Perstorp Golf Course is an 18-hole course and is considered a combination of woodland and parkland. Lakes, forests and ponds line the individual fairways. Perstorp Golf Course has a restaurant.
Ugglebadet is open year-round and offers, among other things, exercise, health promotion, relaxation, swimming lessons and recreation. The facility includes a diving pool with a diving tower at heights of 1, 3 and 5 metres.

Perstorp Tourist Information is located in the same building as Plastens Hus. It offers personal assistance when looking for activities and attractions in Perstorp and the surrounding area. Perstorp railway station has a ticket machine, platforms, parking spaces and bicycle racks.
