Culture

Dzedzina is one of two parallel streets known locally by this name that surround the centrally located Church of Saint Vendelín in Lopašov. Road 51 runs along the western edge of the village; it forms part of the Senica–Holíč–Hodonín route.

The historic seal of Lopašov bears the inscription “PECZET * DEDINI * LOPASSOWA 1601” and depicts a plough with two wheels on the sides. The seal with the plough motif was created as early as 1601 and was used continuously until the 19th century. The first known municipal seal of Lopašov is documented on a charter dated 10 April 1769.

The traditional dress of Lopašov includes workwear, festive clothing and ceremonial attire. The men’s festive and ceremonial clothing includes narrow wool trousers: blue for younger men and black for older men, decorated on the front of the thighs with cord appliqués.

The green-marked hiking trail 5115 leads from Mlýnky via Čupy (574 m) and Dubový vrch (470 m) to Lopašov, where it reaches the Lopašov cemetery.

From Lopašov, an officially red-marked hiking trail leads via Klenová to Brezová–Dvoly.
