At Rybník Kulháň, there are farm animals and play facilities for children, including slides, carousels and swings.
History and crafts
A gold mine is already mentioned in a deed of donation from 1389. Until the middle of the 20th century, some residents of Zlatníky still made wheel spokes for wheelwrights. Another glassworks operated in the Kulháň settlement from 1865; its production ceased in 1890. The surviving traces therefore range from a gold mine mentioned in the Middle Ages through local crafts to industrial glass production.
Church and traditions
Construction of the church began in July and August 1991; in October 1993, a confirmation ceremony with the solemn consecration of the church took place. Inside the church are an altar painting of the Virgin Mary, Queen, the Stations of the Cross and a large wooden cross by the woodcarver Ján Chovan from Dekýš. The bell tower was rebuilt in 1984 based on the design of the earlier structure.
Every year around August 22, residents commemorate the church feast day with traditional church fairs. Thus, alongside the landscape, trails and protected areas, crafts, sacred architecture and vibrant local traditions are also central features.
