The first written mention of Trebichava dates from 1396. The village was founded under hereditary leasehold law. Nature

The Trebichavský potok is a left-bank tributary of the Bebrava. The Kňaží stôl nature reserve extends along the southern side of the area and is home to numerous medicinal and protected plant species. The natural environment therefore includes both a named watercourse with its connection to the river and a protected area with exceptional plant diversity. The two elements remain distinct in terms of both their location and their function.

Hiking

The easiest access to Kňaží stôl is from Trebichava via a green-marked hiking trail. The starting point of the trail described is therefore in the village, while the destination is named as both a mountain and a nature reserve.
