Iňa was first mentioned in writing in 1156. A parish already existed here at the beginning of the 14th century. The history of the village also includes the Kostol Ružencovej Panny Márie church: its construction was started with funds from a public collection, and the church was consecrated in 1866. The various dates show that the surviving traces span several centuries. Ecclesiastical history, community engagement and public remembrance stand alongside one another.

In front of the local church in Iňa stands a wooden statue of the Virgin Mary. Iňa also has a memorial to the victims of the First and Second World Wars. The landscape is therefore described not only by its hilly shape, but also by its geological composition and land use.
