The Mieleńska Promenada Przyjaźni was laid out in 1908. It is used for walks and offers a view of the sea. The Promenada Przyjaźni is about two kilometres long and connects Mielno with Unieście. This gives you both its approximate length and the connection between the two places as useful points of reference when planning your day.
The town’s history can also be traced through specific landmarks. The Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Mielno dates from the 15th century; the promenade was laid out in 1908. Leśna Pętla Przygód i Tajemnic is a nature trail through old dunes in the distinctive coastal forest, located in the “Koszaliński Pas Nadmorski” protected landscape area. Features of the trail include a footbridge, an observation terrace and two new coverings for bunkers from the Second World War. The trail follows the Velo Baltica cycling route. Access is possible from ul. 1 Maja or ul. Kościelna. The two routes offer clearly different kinds of walk: the promenade provides sea views, while Leśna Pętla leads through dunes and forest. The named access roads are a useful point of reference when including the nature trail in your day’s plans.
Beach and Lake Cruise
