Bystre offers several reasons to visit: Bystre Ski has two downhill runs, hiking trails lead to Chryszczata, and the “Cisy na Górze Jawor” nature reserve is located in Bystre. There are also nature trails nearby and a memorial to Aleksander Fredro. Depending on whether skiing, hiking or nature is your main focus, these places offer different ways to shape your trip.

Two runs on Dzidowa
At Bystre Ski, you can choose between a blue run about 400 metres long and a red run about 800 metres long. The blue run is described as suitable for beginners or children; the red run, with FIS homologation, is intended for advanced skiers. The Bystre Ski slope is on the southern side of Mount Dzidowa.
There is a grill bar below the Bystre Ski lift. The Bystre resort also describes snow tubing as a year-round attraction. Alongside the downhill runs, these two offerings are part of what characterises the ski resort. When choosing accommodation, you can consider whether these skiing and resort experiences are the kind of things you want to shape your stay.
Hiking trails and natural areas
A nature trail in the Rabskiego Potok valley is about 3.5 kilometres long. It starts just beyond the “Bystre” holiday centre and ends at a forest track leading towards Jeziorko Bobrowe. Its length and endpoint give you concrete reference points when planning a hike into your day.
The green-marked “Na Chryszczatą” hiking trail leads from Bystre or Wisan to Chryszczata. When planning your hike, you can first decide whether to set out from Bystre or Wisan; no further route details are needed here to distinguish between the two.
The “Cisy na Górze Jawor” nature reserve covers 3.02 hectares and is located in Bystre. The “Gołoborze” nature reserve is also nearby. It has a nature trail and can be reached from Bystre in the direction of Rabe. Both reserves add natural attractions to the hiking trails for you to consider when choosing your excursions.
Mount Dzidowa lies on the boundary of the Ciśniańsko-Wetliński Landscape Park. Together with the location of the ski slope on its southern side, this gives visitors interested in the landscape around Bystre another geographic point of reference.
A memorial and a guide to your stay
A memorial plaque to Aleksander Fredro stands on the road from ORW Bystre towards Rabe. If you want to include a cultural point of interest alongside outdoor activities, you will find it on this road. The Baligród municipality describes Bystre as its main tourism centre.
