Dożynki and Community Celebrations
The Dożynki harvest festival is held every year and has traditionally been celebrated for many generations. At the festival, the harvest procession went to the “Stacja Liniewo Pomorskie” square, where the rest of the celebrations took place. The procession and the subsequent celebration at the named square are specific parts of this harvest festival and offer insight into how it is celebrated locally.
The “Stacja Liniewo Pomorskie” leisure centre is also connected with another occasion: it was opened together with “Dzień Sąsiada.” The square is therefore associated both with the opening of this leisure centre and with the course of the Dożynki harvest festival.
