The Zagroda and church art

These pieces show how different functions and images are represented in the furnishings: alongside the confessionals are a saint’s statue and elements of the altar. The church was consecrated on 29 April 1990. It is a votive building erected in gratitude in connection with the coronation of the miraculous image of Our Lady of Trąbki. This combination of furnishings, consecration and occasion gives culturally minded travellers a concrete way to explore the history of the church building.
Golf and routes as different travel highlights
Golf is another possible interest in Postołowo. The 18-hole championship golf course was designed by Jeremy Turner. The Postołowo Golf Club also offers a 6-hole, par-20 course for beginners. After a short introduction, beginners can play their first real holes there. The two formats therefore differ in scope and target audience: the championship course has 18 holes, while the shorter course is specifically intended for first-time golfing experiences. It offers a different focus from the golf facilities: rather than a clearly defined playing field, the emphasis here is on a route with a total length.
Traces in the landscape
The Evangelical cemetery lies below a forest, north of the road to Ełganowo and about 1 km beyond the village. Today it is completely overgrown and no longer serves its original purpose. Its present condition and location clearly distinguish it from the church and its furnishings. Those interested in local history will encounter a different kind of trace here: not a church space in use, but a cemetery that no longer serves its original purpose.
