The Orthodox parish Church of St Michael the Archangel is a rectangular, weatherboarded wooden church. It was built between 1864 and 1867 on the site of a church that burned down in 1835. The site itself is therefore part of the present building’s history: a place of worship had stood there before. A second wooden church stands in the parish cemetery. It is dedicated to the Dormition of the Mother of God and dates from the early 19th century. At the end of the 19th century, it was moved from Białowieża to its present location. Along this route, you can experience the landscapes around the Narew; the white stork also shapes the local landscape.

Two other routes also offer a thematic perspective on the village. The Szlak Świątyń Prawosławnych (Trail of Orthodox Churches) passes through Trześcianka. The Podlaski Szlak Kulturowy „Drzewo i Sacrum“ (Podlaskie Cultural Trail “Tree and Sacred”) also runs through the village and was created to showcase the beauty of wooden architecture and places of particular interest and value to tourists in Powiat bielski and Powiat hajnowski. While this cultural trail focuses on wooden architecture, the name of the Szlak Świątyń Prawosławnych refers to Orthodox places of worship.

The routes have different emphases: a green-marked trail linking a series of villages, a cycling route connected with the Narew landscape, and routes with a religious or cultural-historical theme.
