History and Remembrance

The “Droga Golgoty Narodu Polskiego” (Road of the Golgotha of the Polish Nation) leads from Radzymin town centre to the cemetery. Marked with stone crosses, the avenue is dedicated to the heroes of the 1920 fighting. The cemetery and avenue offer different forms of remembrance: the cemetery commemorates the fallen soldiers, while the avenue is a dedicated route leading there from the town centre.
An earlier historical milestone is the founding of the Radzymin parish in 1473. It adds an anchor in church history to the memorial sites of the 20th century. Nature in the Municipality
The Bug forms the northern boundary of Radzymin municipality; its banks within the municipality are lushly vegetated and home to numerous waterbird species.
