Osiecznica is one of the two oldest villages in the municipality of Krosno Odrzańskie mentioned in written sources. In 1202, the chamberlain Wilczek transferred land to the Cistercians of Lubiąż, on which the settlements mentioned were founded under German law.

Those wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Osiecznica can use the branch church, manor house, Lake Moczydło and the Oder as points of reference.
