Nadszaniec has a viewing terrace with an exhibition of cannons. The exhibition also explores the history of the Zamość fortress garrison from the 17th to the 19th century and includes uniforms and weapons. This gives the fortress heritage a distinct focus alongside the Renaissance cityscape. Arsenał also offers a glimpse into the city’s architectural history: its original wooden building was constructed from May 1582 to July 1583 to a design by Bernardo Morando. Ogród Zoologiczny w Zamościu im. Stefana Milera is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna. Visitors can see around 2,000 animals from 260 species; the grounds also include a ropes course.
